HOW TO: LONG-DISTANCE CHASTITY

Yes it IS possible to have a long distance key holder. There is no reason the key holder and the chastity sub must be in the same place. If you think you’re ready for this step – discuss it with your chastity key-holder. Decide: how many days you’ll be in chastity? How will you get the key to your key-holder? When will she send it back?

Are there risks to long distance key-holding? Yes, there are risks to long-distance chastity. So proceed with caution, and make sure you trust your key-holder. I’ve been a long distance key-holder a few lucky subs, so I’m here to share my strategies for using a cage, as well as using mental chastity.

First off – you need to send your main key to your long distance key holder. Then you need to decide what to do with the spare chastity key.

Strategy 1 – Give the spare key to a local friend

Give the spare key to a friend who lives nearby, who can return the key when your chastity time is up. Pick someone you can trust and think of an explanation. This is doable even with a vanilla friend. You can just give them a box with things in it and tell them you’ll collect it later. Should anything happen, and you need the key asap – you can get it. Choose your spare-key-holder wisely!

Strategy 2 – Put the spare key in the a safe

Send the official chastity key to your key holder, so she can wear it around her neck and tease you with photos of it. You aren’t allowed to open the safe unless your Domme allows you to. This does take some amount of self discipline. Instead of a safe, you could also use a jar that you seal with wax, so you can prove to your Domme that you have not opened it.

Riskier version – have a safe that only your Domme knows the code to. You can easily set it up over Skype so your Domme sees the code, but you do not. She will tell you the code only when it’s time to unlock you.

Strategy 3 – Freeze the spare key

Send the key to your Domme, and take the spare key for yourself. Freeze the spare chastity key in an ice cube tray, and keep the ice in the freezer for as long as you are in chastity. This will keep you from making an impulsive mistake and unlocking yourself, since you will have to wait for the key to melt. You can also prove to your Domme that the key is still frozen by sending photos.

Strategy 4 – (Risky) No spare key

This strategy involves no spare key. I don’t recommend this as an option, but I will include this for the subs who send away their key without keeping a spare. Get a chastity device that you could dismantle yourself with pliers or other tools, should there be a medical emergency.

Remember the point of chastity key holding is to give up control to someone else. If you don’t think you’re ready for it, don’t do it. Medical emergencies happen, as do unexpected travel plans. It may be awkward going through security in an airport while in chastity. Choose one of the safer version of long-distance chastity first.
